Juventus eyeing a double transfer swoop of Vlahovic and Icardi

Football Express

Juventus are reportedly weighing up a double transfer of Mauro Icardi and Dusan Vlahovic to bolster their attacking firepower for the upcoming transfer window, as per the report in TRANSFERmarketWEB).

After selling Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, the Bianconeri are lacking qualities in their attacking department. Massimiliano Allegri brought back Moise Kean to provide options for the Old Lady of Turin, however, the attacking power of Alvaro Morata, Paulo Dybala and Moise Kean is not world-class by any means.

According to the report, Juventus are trying to build an attacking trio of Vlahovic, Icardi and Dybala to fight for the biggest competitions. Having been impressed by the Serbian’s last season’s performance in Serie A, the Bianconeri have identified the Fiorentina man as their priority to strengthen the striking department.

Allegri’s side are also willing to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Mauro Icardi to play alongside Dybala and Vlahovic. The forward has struggled to find regular first-team action at the French capital and could be open to a return to Serie A.

Juventus want to sign Vlahovic and Icardi next summer:

Signing Vlahovic and Icardi will be a great acquisition for Juventus. After having a wonderful season last term, the 21-year-old has started the new season in a similar fashion, scoring three goals in four league appearances.

On the other hand, the Argentine forward has also showcased his goal scoring prowess during his Inter times, scoring 111 goals in 188 Serie A appearances. So, signing the duo of Vlahovic and Icardi would certainly guarantee goals for the Bianconeri.

Meanwhile, after a disappointing start to the season, the Old Lady of Turin are still without a win in the league and sitting 16th in the table with one point in three games. The fixture will not get any easier for the record Italian champions as they will encounter AC Milan on Sunday at Allianz Stadium.
