Juventus have joined the race to sign Man United star this summer. He has been in superb form recently. He is wanted by multiple clubs and the Red Devils are open to sell him.
The star in question here is Antony who joined United in 2022 from Ajax. The Red Devils paid £86 million to sign him but the deal ended in failure. The Brazilian was not able to impress in his time at Old Trafford. As a result, he was sent on loan to Real Betis in January.
Antony has been superb ever since joining Spanish side. He has scored 8 goals and picked 5 assists in 21 games. Recently, he helped Betis to reach the Conference League final. The Brazilian has impressed everyone but is still linked with an exit from Manchester this summer.
Firstly, Betis are keen to sign Antony but are struggling to pay £40 million demanded by United. As a result, they are trying to sign him on another loan deal. On the other hand, Atletico are also showing strong interest and they can opt to pay United their demanded fee.
Juventus join the race for Antony
According to Tutto Juve, the Old Lady have joined the race for Antony. They are keen to sign him in the summer window. But, they are unwilling to pay United their demanded €50 million. This may result in the failure of the deal.
Antony can be a good addition to the Juventus squad. He can be open for a move as Juve are one of the biggest clubs in the world. But, may also opt to stay in Spain as he has found his top form back after several seasons of underperforming. As for United, they have clear plan for the Brazilian. They will sell him along with many others and use that money to sign another winger along with a striker this summer.
