Juventus looking for managers to replace Andrea Pirlo

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Juventus are reportedly unhappy with their inexperienced manager Andrea Pirlo after a disastrous season under him. This situation has forced the Juventus board to look elsewhere to solve the problem.

Juventus appointed Andrea Pirlo this summer who didn’t have managerial experience before at any level of football. During his time this season. Juventus are on course to lose the Scudetto for the first time in almost a decade. They are also out of the UEFA Champions League this season.

In this situation, the Bianconeri might finish trophyless for the first time in ages. Which should be enough to sack the manager Pirlo at the end of the season.

Top three favourite candidates to become Pirlo’ successor at Juventus:

Diego Simeone: He has taken Atletico Madrid to be one of the best clubs in Europe. His style of football defensive, pragmatic, and no-nonsense which is perfect for the Bianconeri as they are much suited to that kind of football than the free-flowing attacking football.

Atletico Madrid broke the dominance of Barcelona and Real Madrid in La Liga and won the title under Simeone in 2013-2014 after 18 years. Simeone won Copa del Rey and Supercopa de España in 2014.

He has taken the Rojiblancos to the UEFA Champions League final twice and lost against Real Madrid both times in the final. However, he won two UEFA Europa League in 2012 and 2018. He won the UEFA Super cup on both occasions.

Julian Nagelsmann: The young German manager is rated very highly. His style is more free-flowing and attacking. However, the 33-year-old RB Leipzig manager hasn’t won anything yet and it might be too big of a job for him this summer if he decides to leave this summer.

Zinedine Zidane: Juventus might be looking to bring in one more ex-player on as a manager. When he was asked about the possibility of going back to Italy, he didn’t deny the rumor. His quality as a manager is unquestionable as he already won three Champions league and two La Liga titles.

Zidane is more of a balanced coach under him Los Blancos play a pragmatic style of play as well as free-flowing football. He will be a great choice for the managerial position for Juventus as he hasn’t publicized his future with Los Blancos yet.
