Serie A giants Juventus have fallen off the cliff massively. It is not hard to see that the Italians have had so many difficulties in the past seasons. The coming season is going to be an even more challenging one for Juventus. Captain Chiellini has departed Turin after a lifelong service for the club. Star Paulo Dybala has also left Juventus for Rome. Matthijs De Ligt has signed for German Giants Bayern Munich.
The squad is shorter than what it was last season. Reinforcements are needed if Juventus want to compete for titles next season. The Bianoceri are not at the level of AC Milan, and Inter Milan who are looking stronger with every transfer. Last season, Juventus just managed to make it into the top 4 which explains the shortcomings of the squad.
Allegri and Juventus have made some moves in the market. Youngster Rovella and Paul Pogba has been signed for midfield while Bremer has come in to replace De Ligt. Gatti has also come in for the CB position with Bonucci aging. Denis Zakaria has made a big impact already with an impressive performance against Barcelona. Argentine Angel Di Maria has come in for the wing position replacing Paulo Dybala. But the squad feels a lot thinner than most European Giants.
Morata and Paredes Top Juventus’s wishlist
With so many aging players, Juventus needs to make more moves in the market if they want to compete with the European giants. The club is in dire need of attackers and one of the names to have popped up is Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard is a fan favorite and will be a great addition to Allegri’s side. His loan spell at Juventus has ended but Juventus will be hoping for a bargain price for Morata.
Meanwhile, Juventus are also looking to land Leandro Paredes from PSG. The Italians need a deep-lying holding Midfielder who can control the game from behind. Max Allegri is a big fan of the Argentine and is hoping that his club can come to an agreement with PSG. But for that to happen, Juventus need to find another destination for Arthur Melo. It will be interesting to see how Juventus make it all happen.
