Juventus’ possible line-up against Inter Milan

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

After a crucial 1-0 victory against Zenith Saint-Petersburg in the Champions League, Juventus will be travelling to San Siro to encounter Inter Milan on Sunday.

Following a disappointing start to the second innings at Allianz Stadium, Massimiliano Allegri’s side has bounced back brilliantly as they are currently unbeaten in the last eight games in all competitions and seven of them they finished victorious.

So, ahead of derby d’Italia, the Bianconeri will be full of confidence to face the defending champions. Despite starting the season with a leaky defensive record, Allegri’s team has rectified that problem and kept clean sheets in the last four successive matches.

Juventus’ predicted line-up against Inter:

Wojciech Szczęsny will start between the sticks who have performed remarkably well after a dodgy start to the season. While In front of the Polish shot-stopper, the veteran defensive pairing Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini will commence the game. As well as Matthijs De Light will have to remain on the bench after starting in midweek.

Danilo will start on the right full-back position after the midweek off against Zenith and Mattia De Sciglio will be on the other flank.

While Manuel Locatelli and Rodrigo Bentancur should be the midfield pairings as Adrien Rabiot will be unavailable for this encounter and Aaron Ramsey is not in Allegri’s plan. On the wings, Juan Cuadrado and Federico Bernardeschi should be the first choice for the Bianconeri boss.

With Paulo Dybala back into the contention. It will be interesting to see if he will start on Sunday or not. However, due to the lack of match fitness, the Argentine might start on the bench. That means Alvaro Morata and Federico Chiesa will lead the line for Juventus against Inter Milan.

Juventus possible starting lineup against Inter (4-4-2): Szczesny; Danilo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Sandro; Cuadrado, Bentancur, Locatelli, Bernardeschi; Morata, Chiesa
