Arsenal can lose 2 of their targets to Juventus in the summer window. The Serie A giants are plotting a triple raid on their Italian rivals which will result in Gunners losing their top targets.
Gunners are set for a big summer transfer window. They are very likely to sign striker, winger, keeper and atleast 2 midfielders. Their top priority will be to improve their attacking unit and hence many players across whole Europe are linked with them.
As for striker, they have Isak and Sesko as the top priorities. But, the North London club are also keeping a close eye on other available options in the market. One of the strikers linked with them is Mateo Retegui of Atalanta.
Along with Retegui, Gunners also have sight on his teammate Ademola Lookman. The Nigerian is surely going to leave Atalanta at the end of the season. His agents are already said to be in talks with multiple clubs including Arsenal.
Juventus plotting triple raid on Atalanta this summer
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport via FootBoom, Juve are showing interest in 3 Atalanta players namely – Ederson, Ademola Lookman and Mateo Retegui. They are planning for a major shakeup in squad and hence will be prepared to spend big this summer.
Firstly, Juve are set to part ways with Dusan Vlahovic. In addition, Randal Kolo Muani’s future at Turin is still not certain. Hence, they can make a move for both Mateo Retegui and Ademola Lookman.
As for midfield, the Old Lady are not convinced by Douglas Costa. The Brazilian joined them only in summer 2024 but is already linked with an exit. Hence, Juve can opt to replace him with Ederson who is having a very good season.
Arsenal have no intention to make a move for Ederson. But, they do have interest in both Retegui and Lookman. Hence, the latest intetest from Juventus may come as a double blow for the North London club.
