Karim Adeyemi might be interested to join Barcelona in future

In Germany, a talented 21-year-old forward plays for Borussia Dortmund, FC Bayern Munich’s eternal rivals. He has previously mixed with FC Barcelona, with both sides eager in working together at some point. Karim Adeyemi is the name of that youngster. When there appeared a strong possibility that Adeyemi would join Barcelona in 2022, he ended up signing with Borussia Dortmund. The player and those around him believe he will have plenty time and proper support for a young star to develop. It is better than being cast straight away under the spotlight of European elites such as FC Barcelona.

Now, exactly 365 days after signing a deal with Borussia Dortmund, the player has hinted at a probable personal interest in playing for FC Barcelona someday. The player went on to like a comment made by a user stating that he is the “Best possible Ansu Fati replacement for Barca”. The comment has made by a user in a post by the Twitter account of OptaFranz. OptaFranz is a Munich-based team working on collecting and analysing in-depth footballing statistics and information. They highlighted Adeyemi’s incredible 64 mins per goal involvement ratio. Thus making him the best in such a statistic across Europe.

In 2019, he was quoted as saying:

“In the past, it has always been my dream to play together with the best player in the world, Lionel Messi at Barcelona. I want to play at a top club in a top league in any case. If that happens, I actually can’t complain.”

Dortmund fans insists Adeyemi to stay

This like might be an acknowledgment to the player agreeing and possibly still wishing to represent Blaugrana at some point in his career. As the like attracts more admirers, similar comments attempting to discourage the players’ intentions can be seen under the comment. Such as one person saying “Unlike @karim_adeyemi, you have to stay until 2035 minimum”. With Ansu Fati’s exit still a possibility this summer, the German forward could end up representing FC Barcelona in the future. However if the circumstances allow, He might join Barca in near future.
