He made his senior team debut while playing for Mohun Bagan last season under current head coach Kibu Vicuna in the Durand Cup.
Naorem has been retained by the Mariners, on a loan deal from the Blasters for an undisclosed fee. The winger was a key player for Mohun Bagan in their I-League winning campaign last season.
Michael Soosairaj is out of the team due to an injury. As he will be out of the team until he regains match fitness. The Mariners head coach will be filling up the place of Soosairaj with Naorem.
Subha Ghosh played 8 I-League games under Vicuna last season for Mohun Bagan. But he did not get a chance to play for ATK Mohun Bagan in the Indian Super League.

Despite sitting on the bench for ATK Mohun Bagan, Kibu Vicuna can use him as a substitute player for Kerala Blasters FC. Subha Ghosh is an exceptional talent for his age and Kerala has all facilities and set up for his growth.
The January transfer window is open now. Many clubs are looking for loan deals to fill gaps in their squad. Most of the players who play in the I-League players are expected to leave for the I-League 2020-21 season which will start from 9th January in Kolkata.
