Both Kerala and Hyderabad have a forgetful start this season where the Blasters are yet to win a single match and are stuck at the ninth position with just three points in six matches while Hyderabad are at seventh place with nine points.
Kerala Blasters vs Hyderabad FC: Preview
In comparison to the Kerala Blasters, Hyderabad are definitely performing better. but in no way we can underestimate the Blasters. so far they have failed to dominate any team they have faced in the league but we can expect some fireworks from the Blaster on a Sunday evening.
Whereas Hyderabad’s only defeat came in their most recent game against Mumbai City FC last Sunday. After starting the season in fine fashion by winning against East Bengal as well as drawing against Bengaluru FC.
Blasters coach Kibu Vicuna said,
“I’m very happy with the attitude and performance of the players. The attitude of both Indian and foreign players to keep improving and be better than other players is very positive. I’ve no complaint about them because they want to be better every day professionally,”
Hyderabad’s coach Manolo Marquez quoted.
“Kerala Blasters, in my opinion, is a very good team. They didn’t deserve to lose the opening game against ATKMB. Even the last game they managed to equalize in injury time. They have very good players and deserve more points than they have. I know Vicente (Gomez). He was my player in Las Palmas. They have great players in all positions. They also have a very good coach who won the I-League last season. So, we are expecting a good game against Kerala,”
Victory will propel Hyderabad into the top four. But, the Yellow Army are also on the lookout for the three points, thereby making the game a must-win affair for both teams.
