Kevin De Bruyne ‘agreed’ to a move out of Man City?

Man City star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will be starting his last year at the Ethiad according to the contract.

Kevin De Bruyne the star midfielder of the Man City side has just one more year remaining on his deal. The attacking playmaker will then be free to move away from the City if he chooses to.

Regardless, new reports claim that the 33-year-old has verbally ‘agreed’ to move out of the side and the Premier League once the contract ends.

De Bruyne missed the first half of last season due to an injury. Regardless, the Belgian came back in the second half in full form helping the team as he always does. Also, the Ethiad secured another Premier League title.

As per journalist Rudy Galetti, De Bruyne has verbally agreed to a move to the Saudi League Pro club Al Ittihad. It is a possibility that the City has agreed for the midfielder to leave this summer given a fee. However, it is unclear whether the arrangement is based on him joining in 2025 or not.

Additionally, the Belgian star spoke about his possibility of moving to the Saudi league last month. Speaking to Belgian media outlet HLN De Brunye said:

“At my age, you have to be open to everything,”

“You’re talking about incredible amounts of money in what may be the end of my career. Sometimes you have to think about that.

“If I play there for two years, I will be able to earn an incredible amount of money. Before that, I had to play football for 15 years. I may not even reach that amount yet.

“Then you have to think about what that could mean next. But at the moment I haven’t had to think about that yet.”

De Bruyne’s Belgium side was knocked out in the Euros 2024 after reaching the Round of 16.

Moreover, another City Star is on the lookout of the Saudi League. Goalkeeper Ederson is also in talks of moving to the Saudi league for the past month now and according to the reports, the Ethiad is soon going to receive an offer for the Brazillian.

Reportedly, Man City will be accepting a bid of £30m for the keeper. Ederson has another two years left on his contract with City.
