Marc Cucurella has planned his Chelsea exit
While speaking to RadioEstadio Noche, Cucurella said that he got tha chance to play in the European Championship due to the injury of Jose Gaya. He also added that his good form with Chelsea also played a major role in selection process.
Cucurella said that last season was hard because he was injured for three months. But he added that the hard work paid off as he got a call to play Euros. The 26 year old full back grabbed the opportunity with both hands. He was a key player behind Spain’s Euro triumph.
“Now I’m in a very good moment and the fans are very supportive. Now I’m very well in London. The family has adapted very well, and the club seems to be starting to work. In the future I would like to return to Spain” – Cucurella speaking about his present and future.
This suggests that Cucurella wants to move to Spanish club but Chelsea fans will want him to stay for long. The player is tied with a contract running until 2028 which is a good sign for Chelsea. As of now, the player’s focus must be on taking Chelsea back to where it was earlier.
