Kulusevski names Swedish compatriot an idol

Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski names AC Milan forward and Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic as his idol and he would love to have him as a teammate ahead of a big clash between Bianconeri and Rossoneri.

Stefano Pioli’s side will be desperate to win the away match against the Old Lady to solidify the top four spot. Rossoneri are currently 5th in Serie A and the Bianconeri are in 4th after Napoli managed a big victory on Saturday. However, a win in this game will put them in third place.

Milan and Juventus are locked with the same number of points 69 in 34 games. But, Milan are 5th in goal difference. In the early part of the season, the Rossoneri were almost a certain candidate to qualify for the UEFA Champions League but two consecutive defeats a few weeks back dragged them away from the top four spots.

Kulusevski names Ibrahimovic as his idol:

Speaking to Italian media in view of Sunday’s game at the Allianz Stadium, Kulusevski said, “Which player would I take away from Milan? Too easy, my idol Zlatan Ibrahimovic. We will have to play a very careful game in terms of balance, we will not have to throw ourselves into the attack immediately, but we will have to be patient.”

Kulusevski joined Juventus in the summer from Atalanta for €35 million and he had a pretty mixed season so far. The 21-year-old forward made 31 Serie A appearances but only 16 of them as a starter and managed to score just 4 goals and an assist.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic had an injury disrupted season, he had to miss almost fifty percent of games due to injury issues. He only made 18 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring 15 goals and 2 assists.

It will be a big game for both teams on Sunday night as neither team would want to miss out on the Champions League spot. It will be a big blow especially for Juventus if they lose the game at home and miss out on the top four.
