Lazio have joined the race to sign Chelsea star this month. The player is heavily linked with exit and is being looked upon by other Serie A clubs. The Blues has certain demands regarding transfer fee which may make it hard for Italian sides.
Certain Chelsea stars are unhappy with the lack of game time this season. Some among them are made available by the Blues in the market. On the other hand, some are willing to move away in order to play regularly.
One of the stars willing to switch sides is Cesare Casadei. The 21 year old is way behind in pecking order and plays very rarely. He has played only 6 games this season and is yet to play any game in the Premier League.
Casadei is being looked upon by Serie A side Torino. The Italian outfit is desperate to sign the 21 year old and even made an initial offer. They were prepared to pay £10 million but Chelsea have refused that offer.
The West London club want atleast £15 million for the young Italian. Earlier, it was also reported that the Blues want to install a buy-back option in the player’s contract. This will allow them to buy the 21 year old back at very low price in future.
Lazio join the race to sign Cesare Casadei
According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio have joined the race to sign Cesare Casadei. Lazio are in better place financially as compared to Torino and hence can offord to meet the expectations of Chelsea.
The Italian side can also find it easier to convince Casadei in joining them. They are currently on 4th position in Serie A and can provide Casadei with Champions League football next season. Lastly, the 21 year old can play regularly at Lazio and this will be extremely helpful for his career.
