Liverpool 0-1 Brighton & Hove Albion post-match analysis:

It was a pretty even game as neither team managed to create big openings. But Liverpool got the first chance to score from a long ball but Mohamed Salah could not keep it on target.

Brighton also got an opportunity to score but Maupay delayed the shot and Burn got an almost open goal but the shot of his wrong foot went way over the crossbar.

The story for Liverpool didn’t change in the second half, they remained toothless in front of the goal, Salah and Firmino were completely anonymous throughout the match.

Liverpool got a chance from a great improvisation from Thiago from a freekick but Adam Webster defended brilliantly.

Brighton scored the goal on the 56th-minute mark from a Burn cutback and an unintended finish from Alzate gave the seagulls the winning goal.

Klopp’s side never looked like scoring goals in the second half and they lost back to back home games, the first one came after 68 games.

Notable Performances:

Adam Webster(CB) – (7.5/10)(Brighton & Hove Albion): He was fantastic as well and repelled every Liverpool attack which came toward Brighton goal.

Mohamed Salah(RW) – (5/10)(Liverpool): After a brilliant performance in the weekend he could not manage the form in this game and he looked hopeless in this game.
