It’s just been the 11th match week of the Premier League and Liverpool have already become a serious title winning candidate. With 28 points on their name the Reds are currently holding the 1st spot. Leading by 5 points ahead of 2nd positioned Manchester City.
Under new manager Arne Slot, Liverpool have played sensational football so far. When fans thought things will get difficult for them after the departure of Jurgen Klopp from their club, the Dutchman has completely surpassed their expectations.

City and Arsenal falling behind of Liverpool
Despite of brilliant performances by the Reds, they did got some help from the rival sides to solidify their first spot. As fellow title contenders City and Arsenal have played very poorly in the last couple of weeks. Both of the teams have dropped some valuable points at this stage.
The only thing Liverpool now needs to do is to not drop points and continue to win games. However it isn’t as easy as it seems like to tell. We have seen many teams leading the top for the whole season and fumble at the end. Even the Gunners were at the top of the table last season for 248 days. But at last City won the league with finest of margins.
There are a lot of games (27) left until the season ends. Nothing is settled yet, but one thing is sure, this season will also have dramas like the last one, no matter who wins. We will also have to watch out for the underdogs like Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and Chelsea. All of them are doing so good this season.
