Liverpool and Manchester City are handed a major boost ahead of summer transfer market. One of their top targets is being made available in the summer transfer market.
Liverpool are set to lose Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer. He is likely to join Real Madrid as fee agent. The Reds view this as a major loss as he came up through their academy. But, they are now focused to bring in his replacement.
On the other hand, City are also in need to sign a new right-back. They are set to sell Kyle Walker in the summer window. Walker is currently away on loan at AC Milan who have an option to buy at the end of the season.
Liverpool & Man City showing interest in French right-back
Both Liverpool and Man City have French right-back Kilian Sildillia on their radar ahead of summer window. He is 22 years old and currently plays for Bundesliga outfit Freiburg. He is yet to make his debut for France national team but has represented them on youth levels.
According to Caught Offside, Freiburg have made Sildillia available in the summer transfer window. The 22 year old can be signed for only €16 million. This will come as a major boost for both English giants showing interest in him.
Sildillia has been with Freiburg since 2020. Firstly, he started to play for their second team. Later he became a regular member of first team squad since January 2021. He has so far played 103 games for the first team. In those he has scored 3 goals and picked 3 assists.
Sildillia can be a great addition for both City and Liverpool. He can be looked upon as long-term investment. In addition to him, both clubs have many other options to look for in the market. It will be interesting if any of them opts to bring Sildillia to Premier League this summer.
