Liverpool are keen to best Arsenal in the race to sign 18 year old midfielder. The player was close to moving to Premier League in January but the deal didn’t work out. However, the summer deal is very likely to get completed.
Gunners are keen to sign some midfielders in the summer window. As of now, they will part ways with both Jorginho and Thomas Partey. Both will be out of contract after this season and hence it will be a free transfer.
The North London club are planning to land their top target Martin Zubimendi in summer. Thet failed to do so last summer when Liverpool were also interested in him. But, it seems like Gunners have convinced Zubimendi to join them this summer.
Arsenal will need to pay €60 million for Martin Zubimendi. The Spaniard will not be the only addition to the squad. The North London club also have Norwegian player on their radar who is also looked upon by Man City.
The star in question is Sverre Nypan who is 18 years old and plays for Rosenborg. He was recently in England to visit both Arsenal and Man City. Both clubs tried to sign him in mid-season but failed to do so. Hence, the deal is expected to get complete in summer.

Steve Kay has reported that Liverpool have joined the race to sign Sverre Nypan. The report adds that the Reds are determined to beat Gunners in the race. This increases the chances of 18 year old playing in Premier League next season.
Nypan can be great addition to any of the interested clubs. He plays as central midfielder but can aslo feature as striker. He had a superb season recently where he played 29 games. The 18 year old registered 8 goals and 7 assists in those games.
