Rodrygo has made 19 appearances in all competitions, by providing two goals and three assists.

Liverpool are currently one of the Best Attacking sides in England and all over Europe. They have emerged as a Lethal goal-scoring team that knows how to fight back from difficult situations. Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool to alleviate a £68 million move for the Brazilian forward Rodrygo but Real Madrid wont make it that easy for the Reds

Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will be facing a lengthy spell away from Anfield during the starting of 2022. The pair are scheduled to take part in AFCON 2021 which will commence between January 9 and February 6. With that in mind, Spanish outlet El Nacional has revealed that Liverpool have fixed their gaze on signing Real hitman Rodrygo in January.

The same source has stated that Liverpool had been an admirer of Rodrygo while he was with Santos. However, Real Madrid were quick to steal his signature in 2019 to the tune of £40m. The Brazil international still has three years left on his current deal with the La Liga Giants.

Reports have also claimed that the Merseyside had a €60m(£51m) offer for the attacker rejected during the summer transfer window.

However, Liverpool are preparing a bid of €80m (£68m) to bring him to Anfield during the January transfer window 2022. Reputed Football Journalist Fabrizio Romano recently tweeted that Carlo Ancelotti’s side have ‘no plan’ to sell Rodrygo in January. Additionally, he also confirmed that Liverpool are yet to open negotiations.

Rodrygo has found the back of the Net 11 times and registered 14 assists by making 78 appearances for Real Madrid since arriving at the club from Santos in July 2019.
