The keeper went done during the second half of the game. Liverpool did win the game 1-0 against Crystal Palace but were not very happy an important player from the squad was injured. Alisson left the pitch limping off the ground because of a hamstring injury.
Liverpool’s medical team has assessed the situation and stated the injury was a serious one. According to the reports of Football Insider, Becker is slated out of the squad till the end of the year. Likely, the keeper will not return after the international break.

Becker’s absence could be a huge problem for Liverpool.
The Crystal Palace match has come out to be a big problem for the Reds. Their first-choice keeper is out because of a hamstring issue. Liverpool will look to fill in Becker’s position with Caoimhín Keller. He was not in the squad due to illness in the match against Crystal Palace.
Irish goalkeeper has filled the gaps for Allison Becker in the previous season as well. Caoimhin is the first choice for the team as Alisson stays out till September. There are concerns regarding Becker as Liverpool is spending 150,000 euros a week on the goalkeeper.
Alisson was absent for a huge chunk of last season as well due to injuries. The Brazilian has kept a good record of clean sheets for the club but his injury records are a problem. The Reds are eyeing out a replacement for Allison Becker.
The manager Arne Slot has come out to comment about Alisson’s condition and plan. He said-
“We have to wait and see. But it will be a few weeks before he is back. I think it’s his hamstring”.
Liverpool has agreed to deal with Giorgi Mamardashvilli from Valencia. The goalkeeper will stay with the Spanish club this season. He will make his way to the Anfield stadium in the 2025-2026 campaign. Mamardashvilli is capable of filling in the shoes of Becker or even taking on his position if needed. For now, Liverpool hopes their 32-year-old goalkeeper is not out for too long.
