Liverpool have advantage in signing Arsenal target

The January transfer window is rapidly approaching and the rumours have started to increase. Now as per the latest news, Liverpool have advantage in signing Arsenal target Bryan Mbeumo. Along with these two clubs, several other Premier League sides are keen to sign the Cameroon winger.

Bryan Mbeumo has had a great start to this season. He has been superb in Premier League as he has scored 8 goals in 10 matches. The Cameroon winger is only 25 years old and hence is attracting a lot of attention from top clubs.

Arsenal are keen to sign a winger next year. They view Mbeumo as a quality backup for Bukayo Saka but can also use him as a striker. Along with Gunners, Newcastle United are also keeping tabs on the winger.

Brentford are unwilling to sale their superstar and hence are demanding a big amount for him. As per the news, they want around £50 million to £60 million for their 25 year old winger. Now, the latest news suggest that Liverpool may pay the demanded price as they are now favourites to sign him.

Bryan Mbeumo headed to Liverpool?

As per CaughtOffside, the Reds are now the favourites to sign Mbeumo above Arsenal. Arne Slot has had a great start to his Liverpool career. He is constantly getting good results and his attackers are performing really well.

Mohamed Salah is in the final year of his current contract. He is turn 33 in january and the Reds need to look for his replacement soon. Bryan Mbeumo can fill his shoes as he has already proved his worth in England.

The Reds had a quiet summer transfer window. They only made 2 signings out of which 1 was goalkeeper. This suggests that they may well be back to spend big in January transfer window. Hence, Brentford can expect a bid from Reds soon. If not, they will receive bids from any other top club for sure.
