Liverpool have joined Man United and Arsenal to sign young Sweedish fullback. The player’s name is Daniel Svensson who is having a good season with FC Nordsjælland.
Who is Daniel Svensson
Svensson is 22 year old Sweedish player who currently plays for Nordsjælland. He joined the Danish club in 2020 from Brommapojkarna. He has been very good recently and has even made his international debut for Sweden this summer.
Firstly, Svensson used to play as central midfielder and rarely as holding midfielder. But now he has adapted as left back and is doing a great job in that position. He can also play as right back which makes him key asset from any team.
Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal keen to sign Svensson
Man United and Arsenal were already linked with a move for Svensson. But now, TEAMtalk have revealed that the Reds have joined the race alongside those two clubs.
Liverpool are planning to find a potential replacement for Andy Robertson. Robertson is still a key player but is now 30 and will need to be replaced by young fullback very soon.
The Reds did not had a great summer transfer window. They only made two signing out of which one will join next summer. It suggests that we may see Liverpool making some big moves in January itself.
Arsenal have good squad depth currently. Any of Calafiori, Timber, Zinchenko, Kiwior and Tomiyasu can play as left back. But some of these stars are set to leave next year which will force Arteta to find their replacements.
Man United are the most desperate club in need of left back. Both of there Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw have been highly injury prone and are yet to play a game this season. They will definately like to add Svensson to their side in order to improve their current position.
