Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp blasts broadcasters again on live camera

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is in huge aspersion against British Broadcasters once again after James Milner limped off with a hamstring injury at Brighton on Sunday.

The Brighton & Hove Albion equalized in stoppage time as a Pascal Gross penalty, awarded by VAR for Andy Robertson’s challenge on Danny Welbeck, canceled out Diogo Jota’s opener in the lunchtime kick-off.

The Reds also had two goals from Mohammad Salah and Sadio Mane ruled out for offside by VAR, to finish the controversial fixture by 1-1.

The condensed schedule of this season’s Premier League is leading to increased player injuries, with Giants the highest number to report for emergencies.

This incident repeating for the second time left Klopp with a furious situation to handle the tough times of defensive player injuries, adding midfielder Milner to the list.

Klopp stated that it was a “waste of time” attempting to convince the Football authorities and Broadcast rights holders to review the fixture schedule after the Reds played the early Saturday fixture.

Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp thrashing once-more for the Broadcasters

When interviewed by BT Sports Des Kelly about the hamstring injury, Klopp replied sarcastically saying:

Yeah, congratulations. Hamstring. Surprise. And they had injuries as well because it’s a tough time.

Wednesday to Saturday at 12:30 [p.m. GMT] is very dangerous for the players. It’s not only my players who have that problem. I only go for the broadcasters with the Wednesday to Saturday at 12:30.

I wanted to stop doing it because it doesn’t help. It’s a bigger problem this season, because of the short preseason and things like this. We have this slot three times. Look who else had this slot three times? No-one.

Klopp also criticized Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder who supposedly opposed the reintroduction of five substitutions.

Chris Wilder or whoever, constantly say I’m selfish,” Klopp added. “I think all the things show that he’s selfish but that’s not too important.

I was in a similar situation as he is when I worked at Mainz — all about staying in the league. They now have three subs and one point.

It is not the first time that Klopp had been questioned by the broadcasters, for speaking actual facts that he claimed about player carings, difficulties to cope up with tight fixture schedules, and defensive player injuries.

Yet, Liverpool tops the League’s position table after Brighton clash with all such bounded negativities.
