Liverpool keen to sign Chelsea target this summer if …

Liverpool are showing interest in Chelsea target this summer. They will make a move for him if one of their important star decides to leave the club.

Chelsea are set to have a very busy summer transfer window. They are said to sign superstars in all parts of the field. But, their top priority is defence and the Blues are set to spend big on that. They are very likely to sign atleast two defenders.

Firstly, they have Marc Guehi as their top target. The Crystal Palace defender will enter the final year of his contract this summer. Hence, he can be signed on a lower fee. In addition, the Blues have sell-on clause which will reduce the fee even further.

Chelsea are also keen to sign a young defender and already have one on sight. It is Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen who is having a superb debut season in England. In addition, he is just 19 years old which makes him perfect fit as per Chelsea’s fans.

Huijsen has £50 million release clause in his contract which will be activated in summer. The Cherries are keen to extend the contract but the player may prefer to join a bigger club. Along with Chelsea, the 19 year old has interest from multiple top clubs.

Liverpool showing interest in Dean Huijsen

Football Insider have reported that the Reds may make a move for Huijsen if Virgil van Dijk moves away this summer. The Dutch international will be out of contract and still there are no reports about the extension. Hence, the Reds will have a major job on their shoudlers.

Another Liverpool defender is heavily linked with exit which makes defensive signing an urgent job. It is Ibrahima Konate who is looked upon by PSG. Sacha Tavolieri have reported that Konate’s agent is in talks with PSG which will come as a major blow for Liverpool fans.
