Liverpool Player Ratings are all given here after their horrendous defeat against NewCastle United.
Liverpool defeated:
The team went through a horrendous defeat yesterday. They lost another important match for the team yesterday. Carabao Cup was another trophy they could have won. However they failed to win this as well. The only thing left right now is the Premier League. That is the only trophy left for Liverpool to secure at this point. Their dreams of winning the quadruple are gone at the moment. There is no hope left. Mohammed Salah ghosted in a big game as usual too.
Salah have been very inconsistent since the last few games outside of the Premier League. In the match, Dan Burn scored a beautiful goal. The next goal came from Alexander Isak obviously. He is going to score the goal or make an assist for NewCastle United no matter what to be honest. The player is really great. I even predicted this. I said how Alexander Isak is dangerous on attack and Liverpool really needs to be careful. The only Liverpool goal came from Chiesa in the second half.
Liverpool Player Ratings vs NewCastle United:
Caoimhin Kelleher was 5 out of 10. He was horrendous.
Jarell Quansah was 4 out of 10 for the Reds.
Van Dijk was really very mediocre along side him too.
Ibarhima Konate was horrendous and his rating was 4 out of 10.
Andy Robertson was 5 out of 10.
Ryan Gravenberch was 4 out of 10.
Alexis MacAllister was 5 out of 10.
Dominik Szoboszlai was 5 out of 10 as well.
Mohammed Salah was 4 out of 10. He was probably not even present in the match.
Luis Diaz was 5 out of 10.
Cheisa was 7 out of 10. He was the only one who scored the goal.
Author’s Opinion:
I think Liverpool was horrendous in this match. Every single player was clueless. They did not know what to do at all to be honest. It would have been a lot better if they started Chiesa instead. Salah under performs in big matches.
