Liverpool‘s star player Mohammed Salah has dropped a statement which shook the footballing world. The 32-year-old winger has been the best player for the Reds since joining them back in 2017 from Roma. The way Salah has contributed for them simply makes him an undisputed Premier League legend.
Salah has scored 223 goals in 367 games across all competitions with the Reds. This is some outrageous numbers even for a striker, while Salah is a right winger. However, even after all this, earlier this season some fans believed the Egyptian wouldn’t fit under the system of Arne Slot.
But Mohammed Salah has yet again silenced the doubters. He has started the new season stronger than ever and has been the best Liverpool player so far. In 18 club games, Salah has already registered 12 goals and 10 assists across all competitions.
However, the Egyptian’s current contract will expire at the end of the season. Even after all these Liverpool are yet to offer a new contract to Mohammed Salah. And to spice things up the 32-year-old has claimed some bold statements in the middle of the season.
“I’m more out than in”- Mohammed Salah
While speaking to the reporters last weekend Salah confirmed that he didn’t receive any new offers from the club yet. He further mentioned, as things stands the possibility of him leaving the Merseyside is higher than him staying.
“Well, we are almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club, [so] I’m probably more out than in. You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end it is not in my hands. As I said before, it is December and I haven’t received anything yet about my future,” Mohammed Salah said as per the reports of Football.London.
