Now, they have finally made a proper offer for the 23-year-old.
Is Varela the right pick for Arne Slot?
The Argentine midfielder has managed to make quite a name for himself in Europe. Also, signing him will be a great move for Slot. Alexis Mac Allister had to play in a much deeper role last season. We all know that he is more impactful while attacking. If Liverpool are able to sign Varela as per the latest transfer news, Mac Allister would be playing in a more attacking role. At the same time, their squad would be much stronger and ready to go for in the Premier League as well as the UCL.
