Gunners defeated Preston North End in Carabao Cup last night by 3-0 to secure there spot in quarter finals. Overlooked Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus redeemed himself as he was directly involved in 2 goals against Preston.
Gabriel Jesus has been really struggling to improve recently. Last season he lost his place as a regular starter. Kai Havertz took his place and stepped up making Jesus a backup striker.
Gunners did wanted to sell Jesus this summer. But they were unable to sign a new striker which extended Jesus’ stay at North London. But, the striker was unable to score this season which caused fans to ask for his departure.
Jesus has finally been able to redeem himself as he was superb last night. He registered his first goal and assist of the season in the same match and was the highest rated player. This will surely give him confidence and hopefully he is able to turn his fortune around.

If Jesus is able to stay consistent and play like this, he may force Arteta to rethink about his plan to sign a striker.
