Luka Modric is expected to mentor future star, Jude Bellingham

Fourth

Modric has a heavy dedication to the Real Madrid badge which is unmatched. But it might be decades before the club sees a more loyal and passionate player. However, the club’s desire to find a younger replacement becomes more justified as the player nears 38.

Rodrigo Faez reports that Real Madrid plans to use Modric as a mentor for Bellingham as they prepare for his impending retirement. No doubt, the veteran star is well aware of his situation and will be happy to take on the role of mentor and player.

Bellingham’s deal will be very critical in January. Madrid plans to contact Borussia Dortmund soon and is confident that they can pull off the heist. Furthermore, the 19-year-old is said to demand €140 million from the Black and Yellows.

Can Jude Bellingham successfully replace Luka Modric at Madrid?

Jude Bellingham is the best candidate to replace Luka Modric in midfield. After a phenomenal World Cup campaign with the Three Lions, Los Blancos will go all in to pay over €100 million for him. Bellingham has everything that you could for in a future superstar of the game. He has the physical attributes, the technical ability, and the leadership qualities as well.

Together with Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde, and Eduardo Camavinga, Bellingham could form Europe’s strongest young midfield. His role will be to take the attacking midfield role, looking to dictate play behind the striker as well as directly threaten the goal.

In the summer, Modric’s contract with the club will expire. But there are expectations that Modric will extend it for another season. If Bellingham moves to the Bernabeu, having him mentor him would be extremely beneficial for the youngster as well as Real Madrid.

Still, there are many reports circulating around the media. Liverpool seems to be heavily interested in enjoying Bellingham’s services. Real Madrid on the other hand will surely give their all in securing the talented midfielder.
