Auxerre

According to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, the 18-year-old Luke Romero is moving to Inter and expects to leave the Biancocelesti on a free transfer. However the Nerazzurri are hesitant because of the scale of the agent commission that would be involved and In the summer of 2021, Mallorca’s Romero, an Argentine youth international, transferred to Lazio.

Over the past two seasons, the 18-year-old has made a total of 21 appearances for Maurizio Sarri’s team. In the process, he has assisted the Biancocelesti with one goal.

Romero, though, appears destined to leave Stadio Olimpico in the summer, according to FCIN. The athlete and his representatives and Lazio are unable to come to terms on a new contract. Right now, Romero’s agents are searching for a new team for the adolescent player from Argentina.
Inter is one of the clubs that contacted, according to FCIN.

One for the future: Luke Romero

Romero is in some ways an obvious target for the Nerazzurri and he will join on a free transfer. In recent years, Inter’s transfer strategy has centred heavily on the pursuit of free transfers. Moreover Beppe Marotta, the CEO, has discussed this. Romero’s tactical adaptability would also benefit a group like Inter, according to FCIN. The 18-year-old can perform a variety of positions, including wingback, attacking midfielder, and second striker.

The Nerazzurri are delaying the deal, according to the outlet, for the same reason and Lazio is unlikely to offer Romero a new contract. The significant agent fees being requested to sign the player are not something Inter would likely be willing to pay and this will happen soon.
