Man City favourites to land Arsenal and Liverpool target

Man City are said to be favourites to land Arsenal and Liverpool target. The player’s current club has already set his transfer price and made him available in market.

The player in question here Swedish star Hugo Larsson. Larsson is 20 years old and currently plays for Eintracht Frankfurt. He mainly plays as central midfielder but can also play as holding midfielder.

Larsson joined the German club in 2023 and have progressed very much since. He has so far played 61 matches for Frankfurt and has recorded 6 goals and 2 assists. In addition, Larsson has already made his debut for Sweden national team. He has so far played 8 games for his country.

Larsson has been looked upon by Liverpool and Arsenal since a long time. Gunners are planning to sign him as replacement for Partey and Jorginho who are set to leave the club in summer. They view Larsson as a long term investement and quality partner for Declan Rice.

According to GiveMeSport, Man City are emerging as favourites to sign Larsson. The report further adds that Frankfurt are demanding around £70 million for him. The German club have the player tied until 2029 with a contract and hence they will have a big say in deciding his future.

Man City are keen to improve their midfield by finding a perfect replacement for Rodri. They have been in the worst phase under the management of Pep Guardiola. They are believed to make big moves in market and can spend big on Larsson.
