According to Mail Sport, both Man City and Liverpool are showing interest in Andrei Ratiu. He is 26 years old Romanian player who currently plays for Rayo Vallecano. Ratiu has €25 million release clause in his contract that can be easily triggered by both City and Liverpool.
Ratiu joined Rayo Vallecano in summer 2023. He played only 16 games in his first season at Spain. But, this season he has established himself as a regular starter. He has played 29 games and has registered 2 goals along with 3 assists.
Ratiu has been a regular starter for Romania national team. He has so far played 29 games for his country and has been able to score 1 goal and pick 1 assist. Lastly, it can be easy to convince him as playing for any of City and Liverpool will come as a big step-up in his career.
