Man United and Spurs are planning to make a move for Arsenal keeper Karl Hein. Hein is currently on loan to Real Valladolid and is having a great season.
Hein is Arsenal academy graduate and he has also played for their first team. He is 22 years old and has already played 34 international matches for Estonia. This season he was being sent on loan to Spain.
Hein joined Real Valladolid and became their first choice keeper. He has started in all 13 La Liga games this season. The Spanish side is in relegation zone as of now, but Hein has given his all to prevent that.
Hein has been very good despite conceding 25 goals in 13 matches. He has kept 2 clean sheets and made a superb amount of 43 saves. This is more than saves made by any of the United’s, Spurs’ or Arsenal’s main keeper this season.
Man United and Spurs interested in Arsenal academy graduate
As per the report from Fichajes, both United and Spurs are keen to sign Karl Hein. Arsenal are prepared to part ways with the keeper too, but are demanding around €20 million to €25 million.
Andre Onana is looking like he is back in his top form. United now want to find a suitable backup for him as the current backup wants to leave the club. Altay Bayindir who has played only 3 matches in past 2 seasons is linked with a move back to Turkey.
They also want the keeper to be young and compete for the starting spot. Hein can be a perfect fit as per their requirements. On the other hand, Tottenham too are planning to sign a backup keeper.
The both clubs may be unwilling to spend as high as €25 million for backup keeper. Hence, they may try to lure Hein away on discount. But Hein has signed a new contract with Gunners recently, which makes Arsenal’s stance strong in demanding high price.
