Man United announce the arrival of Van Nistelrooy and Rene Hake

Manchester United are very busy in this transfer market. The club is in constant process of hiring new players or staff members. United fans have been very happy with the way club is being operated. Many changes were expected after the number 8 finish in Premier League last season. Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been absolutely determined to bring back the glory days to Old Trafford and have made crucial changes in the United board. The next step was to hire some of the top coaches in the world. United have now announced the arrival of Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Rene Hake as their new coaches.

After the arrival of Dan Ashworth from Newcastle, the transfer activity of Red Devils has caught speed. Earlier, United parted ways with Benni McCarty and Richard Hartis. Now the club has parted ways with Mitchell van der Gaag. Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Rene Hake and Jelle Ten Rouwelaar are set to take their places. Van Nistelrooy and Hake were already present when most of the squad returned to their pre-season preparation on Monday. However their hiring was not official at that time.

Go Ahead Eagles announce the departure of Hake

Rene Hake became the manager of Go Ahead Eagles in 2022. Hake has done a great job in his two years spell with the Dutch side. In his first season, he was able to finish on 11th place in Eredivisie. However, he missed the qualification for European football play-offs. Nevertheless, the 2023/24 season was Hake’s redemption time. Go Ahead Eagles finished on 9th position in Eredivisie which is the highest finish in club’s history since 1979. The Dutch side is now set to play in the qualifying stage of Conference league.

Rene Hake’s departure has been announced on official website of Go Ahead Eagles. Along with the news, the Dutch side has released an emotional video of around 2 minutes. To conclude, Eagles thanked Hake for his two years spell and wished him successful future in Manchester.

Man United announce Hake and Van Nistelrooy as their new coaches

Rene Hake and Ruud Van Nistelrooy have both signed two year contract with the Red Devils. They will replace Benni McCarty and Mitchell van der Gaag as Ten Hag’s assistants. After arrival of Jelle Ten Rouwelaar, United will have four Dutch coaches in the staff. Erik Ten Hag spoke about the appointment of Hake and Van Nistelrooy. According to him, the Dutch duo will bring fresh ideas and energy to Manchester United. In addition, Ten Hag thinks Hake and Van Nistelrooy will bring new dynamic, innovation and initiative to the team.

To begin with, Ruud Van Nistelrooy is Man United legend. The former Dutch international has scored 150 goals for the Red Devils. Speaking about Van Nistelrooy, Ten Hag said that he will bring some DNA to Manchester United. In addition the United boss said that Van Nistelrooy has a highly interesting profile, he is ambitious, has skills and also has a lot of experience. Ten Hag believes in Van Nistelrooy and thinks that the former Dutch international will be able to help all the players in the team.

Erik Ten Hag highly rates Rene Hake. He said that Hake has been coaching from a very young age and has coached teams from under-6 to the highest level. United boss added that the introduction of Hake in United will be as important as of Van Nistelrooy. To conclude, Ten Hag is extremely happy with the arrival of his fellow countrymen. Finally, United’s full focus will be shifted to sign some of the top talents across Europe. It will be interesting to see how United perform in the 2024/25 season with so many new changes.
