Man United are set for a major summer overhaul. There will be some big names landing at Old Trafford. On the other hand, many current players will be seen leaving the club. Amidst this, the United boss considers 3 players untouchable.
Manchester United are sitting on the 15th position in the Premier League. This is one of their toughest seasons in the history. But, they still have the chance to lift the silverware as they are in Europa League final. However, it will not change the fact that key changes are needed.
The Red Devils are set for a major summer overhaul. Many of their current players are linked with exit in the summer window. There can be a mass exodus as United are in need to raise funds. This will help them to sign new players along with complying with PSR.
Man United boss considers these players untouchable
Many of the United players are linked with an exit this summer. Ruben Amorim will be backed by the board to bring in new players and sell current ones. As of now, he has 3 current players in his plans and considers them untouchable. As per TEAMtalk, those players are Bruno Fernandez, Kobbie Mainoo and Diogo Dalot.
Bruno Fernandez has been the backbone of the United team this season. Without him, the Red Devils would have been in relegation zone for sure. He has 19 goals and 17 assists this season which is his second best tally since joining the Red Devils.
Kobbie Mainoo has been linked with exit on multiple occasions. But, it has never been performance related. He wanted a hefty salary which was causing an issue. But, Amorim wants to keep him at the club at all costs. Hence, it is very likely that he will stay at Old Trafford beyond this season.
Lastly, Diogo Dalot has also been very good for the United squad. He has worked very hard to help the club by playing on both wings. This season he has scored 3 goals and picked 5 assists in 51 games. Hence, Amorim has Dalot in his future plans and the Portugese can be seen playing a big role for his compatriot.
