Man United close to sign dynamic wonderkid

Manchester United have one of the most successful academy in the world. Over the years the club has produced some of the greatest talents in the world. Sir Jim Ratcliffe has already told that he would be focusing on academy for the future of the club. This summer, United want to sign four players for their youth team. Two signings are already done while the third is on the verge of getting completed. Recently, United are reported to be very close to sign a dynamic wonderkid who has received a lot of praise.

Over the years, United have produced players like Bobby Charlton, George Best, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Paul Pogba and many more. Kobbie Mainoo is the most recent addition to this list. Mainoo is highly rated and is currently an integral part in England national team at Euros. Before Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho lit up the Premier League in 2022/23 season. The Red Devils want to continue the academy’s success and are working hard for it. Samuel Lusale who has received a lot of praise from football greats is now reported to join the United academy.

United linked with Slovakian wonderkid

Manchester United are reported very close to sign Slovakian youngster Samuel Lusale. Lusale who is 16 years old currently plays for Crystal Palace’s youth team. In addition he has made three appearances for Slovakia’s youth team in under-17 European championship. Before the under-17 Euros, ESPN named him the player to watch. They talked about the youngster’s amazing acceleration, enthusiasm and clever moment in the final third. In March, Lusale featured in London’s top 50 youngsters where he was labelled as a tricky winger with an eye for goal.

Lusale is eligible to represent Zambia which is his father’s side. However the youngster has opted to go with his mother’s side for now. In addition, Lusale can represent England too as he was born in Guildford, Surrey.

Lusale is represented by Jay’s talent agency Roc Nation. On their website Lusale is represented as quick, dynamic winger who is regarded as one of the most exciting attacking players in the UK at the under-16 level. In addition he is marked as a player who is comfortable to play on both right and left wing along with electrifying pace which makes him constant threat for the opposition defense. To conclude, Roc Nation said that Lusale is often the source of goals and assists for his team.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s vision about United academy

Samuel Lusale will be very good addition as United wonderkid because of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s vision about club’s future. Ratcliffe said in february that United academy will play a key role in his plans for future. The new co-owner of the club said that recruitment is on the top of the list as United have failed to achieve good results even after spending a lot of money.

Ratcliffe added that the club needs to decide what type of players we need before signing them. Later he said that United academy need players who play attacking and exciting football. Furthermore, Ratcliffe praised the United academy and said that its probably the best academy in the world.

Lusale will be the fourth signing of the United academy. The club has already completed the signing of Silva Mexes and Rob Earnshaw. Camron Mpofu is set to join these two as his signing is currently in process to be done. Due to Brexit rules, English clubs can’t sign players who below 18 years of age from overseas clubs. Hence, the club’s sole focus is on recruiting the top talents from United Kingdom.
