Man United demanding £70 million for Chelsea target

Chelsea along with multiple others are showing interest in one Man United star. The Red Devils are already open to sell the player. They have now slapped a £70 million asking price on him.

Chelsea are in need of new attackers this summer. They have already signed Liam Delap from Ipswich Town. The 22 year old costed the Blues only £30 million due to which they are open to sign another striker. In addition, they are keen to sign a new winger.

The Blues are focused on right footed left winger. But, they also want him to play on right and in middle when needed. In addition, they want him to be young which has been their top priority since the takeover. The West London club have been linked with multiple wingers.

One of the players Chelsea are linked with is Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentine has fallen down the pecking order at United. The Red Devils were open to sell him already in January. But, no club was able to advance in the deal due to which they had to keep him.

According to The Independent, United are asking £70 million for Garnacho. This will come as a blow for Chelsea who would have liked to sign the Argentine on lower fee. This may now result in them dropping the interest in Garnacho and focus on their other targets.

Garnacho also has interest from plenty other clubs. Firstly, he is wanted by Napoli who have been showing interest in him since January. They are keen to sign him as a replecement for Kvaratskhelia. The Georgia international left the Serie A champions to join PSG.

On the other hand, Atletico Madrid are also keen to sign Garnacho. Diego Simone is a huge admirer of his compatriot. Lastly, the 20 year old is also wanted by Bayer Leverkusen. The German giants have appointed Erik Ten Hag as the new head coach who is pushing for the deal.
