Man United have joined the race to sign one of the Arsneal’s top targets. The player is having a superb time in Premier League this season.
The star in question is Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo. The 25 year old has been in superb season this season. He has started in all 20 league games so far and has topped it with 13 goals and 3 assists.
Mbeumo mainly plays as right winger but can also play as striker. Arsenal have been monitoring him from a long time as they want to sign a proper backup winger for Bukayo Saka who can also help in other parts of the field.
Gunners were said to make an offer for Brentford in summer. The 25 year old will be out if contract in summer 2026 and hence the Bees are open to part ways. However, they will be open to selling him only in summer as they want to keep him until the end of the season. It will be very hard to replace him especially in the middle of the season.

According to The Mirror, United have joined Gunners in the race to sign Mbeumo. In addition, Daily Star have reported that the Red Devils are plotting a shock move as Ruben Amorim is big fan of the 25 year old.
United are in transition phase right now. There will be many moves in both directions in the upcoming months. As of now, many of the attacking stars are linked with exit and hence it will open up huge space for new superstars.
However, it will be very hard for United to land the 25 year old this month. In addition, they will find it hard to convince Mbeumo to join them over Arsenal. Arsenal have a lead as they can provide Champions League football whereas United are far away from even qualifying for Conference League at the moment.
