Man United legend urges Maresca to fine Chelsea star

Man United legend Rio Ferdinand is disappointed with Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca. It is because Maresca defended one of his player’s behavior on the pitch. Ferdinand made bold statements and urged Chelsea boss to fine the player.

The player in question now is Noni Madueke. Madueke was brought off by Maresca in 68th minute while playing against Arsenal. He was replaced by Mykhailo Mudryk.

Madueke was unhappy with the decision and he went down the tunnel. It was labelled as rude and disrespectful behaviour by many but Maresca defended the player after the game.

Chelsea boss said that players are unhappy when you take them off. He defended Madueke by saying it is not only about him but is same for all players. Later he even called it a good thing as the player wants to play until the end.

Ferdinand disappointed with Maresca for defending Madueke

Man United legend was clearly unhappy with Chelsea boss. He said that it is disrespectful to the other players while speaking on his youtube channel. He added that it is a young team hence Madueke got off lightly.

Ferdinand was unhappy with Madueke and he was backed by Owen Hargreaves who said that they would have never done that because Sir Alex Ferguson would have knocked them out.

Then, Ferdinand had another go at Maresca where he said that the manager protecting him is ‘mad’. He added that this is the reason why he cannot be manager because he can’t defend the players like this. Lastly he urged Maresca to fine the player for two weeks.

Most of the Chelsea fand are also unhappy with Madueke. Some called him rotten while others said that he needs to be dropped from the matchday squad. Some said that he has bad attitude and ego while some said that he needs to be disciplined very soon.
