The only issue in the deal is the valuation from Lyon for Cherki. The Ligue 1 giants want around €35-40 million for the player. The player is keen to join City but as of now is focused on national duty. He is expected to make debut for France.
Lastly, the report says that it will not be a big saga for Cherki. City are keen to complete the signing as soon as possible. They want the 21 year old for the Club World Cup. Hence, the transfer activity is likely to speed-up in coming days.
