According to Football Transfers, Man United are showing interest in Joan Garcia. The Spanish shot stopper has been on the radar of Gunners since last summer. The Red Devils are plotting to hijack the deal and bring the Spaniard to Old Trafford.
Garcia has €30 million release clause in his current contract. Espanyol will want it to be paid fully. Gunners were said to have convinced Garcia to join them last summer. But, they were unwilling to trigger his release clause which resulted in the failure of the deal.
However this summer, Garcia is very likely to move away from Espanyol. Arsenal still want to sign him as a backup for David Raya. But, Man United can force the player to change his mind by offering him a position in starting eleven.
