Man United gets promoted into the top half of the Premier League table. After the 4-0 win over Everton last weekend under new manager Ruben Amorim. As of now Man United are currently standing at the 9th place of the table with 19 points. It might seem quite surprising but they are only 4 points behind the defending champions City.
The game started with some early pressure from the visitors at Old Trafford. As the away supporters were protesting against ticket pricing in the background.
However, that didn’t stop the Red Devils to accomplish their mission. Marcus Rashford broke the stalemate with a deflected shot from the edge of the box following a well-rehearsed corner routine. Joshua Zirkzee increased their lead in the latter stages of the first half, scoring his second goal for the club.
Rashford scored his second and United’s third goals mere seconds after halftime, capping off an incredible counter-attack by Amad and Zirkzee. Amad again showed his class when he set up United’s fourth and Zirkzee’s second goal of the game.
It was an important victory for the new manager to gain the faith of the fans and management. More over, two goals each from both the underperforming stars will also uplift their confidence. Zirkzee scored for the second time in a match with Man United since his £36.5 million summer transfer from Bologna.

Author’s opinion
Football.Express says the win over Everton was a good early sign for the club. Only after 3 games under Ruben Amorim, we can already see the difference on the pitch. The players look confident and clear towards their role. It might be too early to say but Man United will be back on their feet again in the upcoming seasons.
