Man United are headed for a major summer overhaul. They will be seen making signings in all areas. As of now, they are linked with a move for Brazilian star who will cost £30 million.
The Red Devils are having one of their toughest seasons in the history. They are on 16th position in Premier League. Hence, they are now set to take some bold decisions. There will be departures of many players who have struggled to make a mark at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim will be backed to bring in players of his choice. The Portugese boss likes to play with two wing-backs. United have already signed Dorgu on the left side. As for right side, currently Amorim is using Dalot and Mazraoui. But, the Portugese is still keen to sign a more natural right-back this summer.
Man United showing interest in Brazilian ace
According to GiveMeSport, United are showing interest in Brazilian star Vanderson. He is 23 years old and currently plays for Monaco. The report adds that the French club will be open to sell Vanderson for £30 million. He can be the signing United need.
Vanderson has been very good for Monaco in recent seasons. This season, he has scored 2 goals and picked 5 assists in 40 games. He has represented Brazil national team on 5 occassions so far. He is quick, strong and very good in attacking and hence will fit perfectly in Amorim’s system.
Vanderson will allow Mazraoui to play as a right centre back. In addition, he will allow Amad Diallo to play in further parts of the pitch which will make United more dangerous in the final third. Lastly, he will be looked upon as a long term investement due to his age. It will be interesting to see if United submit a bid for him soon.
