Man United star keen to join Barcelona this summer

One Man United star is keen to sign for Barcelona this summer. He is currently away from Old Trafford on loan. Despite him playing well for the Premier League side, he is keen to move away from England.

The star in question here is Marcus Rashford. He has came through Man United’s academy and has played a big role for them. But, he started to fall down the pecking order since last season. This season, the 27 year old was unable to impress causing him to be sent on loan by the Red Devils.

Rashford joined Aston Villa on loan in January. He has been very good for them under Unai Emery. He has scored 4 goals and picked 5 assists to showcase his quality. Aston Villa are impressed by his impact for them and are keen to sign him permanently.

Man United to sell Rashford permanently this summer

Villa have an option to buy Rashford at the end of the season. They will need to pay the Red Devils £40 million. United are keen to sell him as they do not see Rashford suitable for future plans. Hence, the talks about the 27 year old’s future will take place very soon.

Rashford will be back at Man United for medical tests. He is injured and will miss the upcoming 3 games for Villa. In addition, he will also miss the last game as it is against United. Hence, the 27 year old has likely played his last game for Villa as he is not willing to join them.

Rashford unwilling to join Aston Villa permanently

Despite Villa having an option to buy the 27 year old, the player is unwilling to join them. According to The Mirror, Rashford has his heart set on a move to Barcelona. In addition, he is willing to take pay-cut in order to join Spanish giants.

Rashford earns £350,000 per week which makes other clubs hard to agree on a deal. As per the reports, there will also be another loan option with United covering some of his salary. But, that is unlikely to happen as the Red Devils are keen to cut their losses due to tough financial situation.
