According to TEAMtalk, Man United view Xavi Simons as the alternative option for Cunha. They will make a move for the Dutch youngster if they fail to sign Cunha this summer. Simons is very young but is already playing big role for both club and country.
Simons is only 22 years old and can play in multiple positions. He has scored 10 goals and picked 6 assists this season in 30 games for Leipzig. Last season, he scored 10 and assisted 13 in 43 games. Simons has also been regular starter for Netherlands national team. He has played 26 games for his country so far.
