Man United and West Ham United are both showing interest in Premier League star. The player used to play for their rivals Arsenal and will be available in the summer transfer market.
Manchester United are headed for a major summer overhaul. They are on 15th position in the Premier League due to which many changes are expected. Ruben Amorim will be backed by the board to bring in players of his choice.
On the other hand, the story is same for West Ham United. They are on 17th position in Premier League. They have already brought in new manager and now it is time to bring in some key players. As of now, they along with United are linked with former Arsenal star.
Man United & Hammers both showing interest in 26 year old shot-stopper
According to The Mirror, both United and Hammers are showing interest in Aaron Ramsdale. The 26 year old joined Southampton from Arsenal last summer. But, he is likely to be available in market once again as Southampton have relegated. Ramsdale has relegation clause in his contract that is now activated.
Ramsdale played a key role for Arsenal earlier. But, he became bench warmer after the arrival of David Raya. As a result, he moved away from Gunners. This season he has played 27 league games and has made 113 saves. He has also saved 2 penalties to showcase his top quality between the sticks.
Ramsdale has been one of the best players for Southampton despite them getting relegated. He is too good to play in Championship and hence a move to any of United or West Ham will be a good step in his career. This will also increase his chances to play for England national team. He is only 26 years old and surely has many years in front of him.
