Man Utd feel that Chelsea would make a late attempt to sign out-of-favour winger Jadon Sancho before the transfer window shuts.
According to the Athletic, The insiders from Manchester United have a feeling that Chelsea are eyeing for a late swoop for Jadon Sancho. The English winger has been on strings since his fall out with Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag during late 2023. The fall out even led him to train seperately for a few month. But ahead of this season start Ten Hag had publicly asserted that Sancho had reconciled with him and the tension was cleared. The winger even featured consistantly during the pre-season. Now the sources confirm that Man Utd are ready to let the 24 year old go if a suitable offer arrives.
SANCHO TIME AT MAN UTD
Jadon Sancho joined Man Utd in the summer of 2021 from Borussia Dortmund for 73 million pounds. A fee that is very high to weigh on his shoulders. His time at Old Trafford was a mixed bag. Sancho had a slow start to his life in Manchester. The former Man City youth team product couldn’t replicate his form in Bundesliga to the Premier League. It was hard for him to adapt ot the physicality of the league. Despite that he started to show some glimpses of his talent during the second half of 2021-22 season.

He then went back on loan to BVB Dortmund were again we started to see the old Jadon Sancho. The winger went on to start in the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid.
Ahead of this season it was confirmed by Ten Hag that the issues were resolved and he returned to training. He also had a descent pre-season with United but fitness issued led him to miss out on the PL opener against Fulham.

According to reports 47 million pounds is the expected value by United. He is out-of-favour under Ten Hag and a suitable offer from Chelsea could be accepted by United.
