Manchester United are being tipped to snatch Jonathan Tah and Patrik Schick from Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
Red Devils Plot Bold Raid for Jonathan Tah and Patrik Schick
Manchester United are preparing a big summer shake-up under new manager Ruben Amorim. Additionally, Bayer Leverkusen stars Jonathan Tah and Patrik Schick have emerged as major targets.
Tah has said that he will leave Leverkusen at the end of his contract in June. So, he is available on a free transfer. His contract runs out this June. So, he is drawing attention from several clubs.
Barcelona have already made contact, but talks are on hld. That gives Utd a window to make their move. The 28-year-old German has been a rock at the back and fits the profile Amorim needs to bolster his defence.
Meanwhile, Amorim is also eyeing Schick as well. The center forward has already managed to net 25 goals this campaign. That also includes some eye-catching performances in the Bundesliga. He is seen as a strong No.9 option with Leverkusen now open to offers in the €30–40 million range.
Chelsea Join Race for Schick as Transfer Battle Heats Up
While Utd are serious about landing both players, they’re not alone. Reportedly, Chelsea are also working to get Schick’s signature to strengthen their forward options. The Blues, like United, are desperate for consistent goals and see the Czech striker as a perfect fit.
Arsenal and Real Madrid have also shown interest in the striker. On top of that, Newcastle are trying to hijack United’s move for Tah. The Magpies are aiming to build a title-challenging squad.
Utd, meanwhile, have plenty of other strikers on their radar. They are also currently looking at Victor Osimhen and Ipswich’s Liam Delap. The latter is available for £30m if his club gets relegated this season from the PL.
Players like Rasmus Hojlund possibly on their way out, Utd’s summer transfer window is shaping up to be explosive.
