Manchester City eyeing summer move for Colombian full-back

Manchester City are eying a summer move for Colombian full-back. The player is highly offensive and has already showcased his quality in Premier League.

City are set for a major summer window. Pep Guardiola wants to make some key changes in the squad after having an extremely tough season. He is willing to replace many of his current stars with new faces.

One of the player who is very likely to leave is Kyle Walker. He is currently away on loan to AC Milan who are willing to sign him permanently in summer. This will need City to find a proper replacement at the right side of defence.

Manchester City linked with Colombian right-back

According to The Sun, Man City are showing interest in Daniel Munoz. Munoz is 28 years old and currently plays for Crystal Palace. He mainly plays as righ-back but is also capable of playing in the upper parts of the pitch.

Munoz can be a perfect replacement for Kyle Walker. He is highly offensive and has so far scored 5 goals along with 5 assists in 33 games this season. He is regular player for Columbia national team for whom he has played 36 games so far.

City also have Rico Lewis, but he is still 20 years old and lacks experience. Munoz arriving at the Etihad will make Pep Guardiola’s side strong at the back. Crystal Palace may feel to keep Munoz for little longer but may find it hard if top club likd City come knocking on the door.

Munoz can be easily convinced by City as playing at top level will seem attractive to him. In addition, he can win major titles regularly and can possibly play in Champions League too. It will be interesting to see if City step-up their interest in summer. Although, they are expected to be joined by multiple other top clubs.
