Haaland broke Premier League record:
Haaland broke a few Premier League record yet again. Omar Marmoush also scored a really good goal for Manchester City from 20 yards out to the bottom corner as well. However, it was not long before Pervis Estupinan’s free kick where he equalised for Brighton after their first goal. It was a really good goal as well. The goal was a curler free kick which went through. The ball hit the post. However, Stefan Ortega still could not save the shot and missed it. The goal went in because of Ortega’s error who was playing instead of Ederson who was out because of his injury. The next goal came from the error made by Khusanov. It happened because of the deflected effort from Jack Hinshelwood. It went in as an own goal from Khusanov. The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Manchester City Player Ratings vs Brighton:
Stefan Ortega was horrendous. His rating was 4 out of 10 obviously. Rico Lewis was 5 out of 10. He was really very mediocre as well. Ruben Dias was 5 out of 10 too. The player was absolutely horrendous as well. Abdukodir Khusanov was 4 out of 10. He literally scored an own goal. He was of course horrendous as well. Josko Gvardiol was good. However, he ended up making several mistakes too. His rating was 6 out of 10. Savinho was 5 out of 10. Gundogan was 5 out of 10 as well. Nico Gonzalez was peak mediocre and he was 5 out of 10 too. Jeremy Doku actually played pretty well and his rating was 7 out of 10. Omar Marmoush was 7 out of 10 and Haaland was 6 out of 10.
Author’s Opinion:
I think every single Manchester City player was mediocre that day. The match was really very horrendous and was unwatchable to be honest. However, this is the Manchester City I watched when I was a kid.
