Manchester City are coming into Derby against Manchester United on Sunday night at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on the back of a 28 unbeaten run in all competitions.
Manchester United have had an unbeaten run of 21 away games in the Premier League. This will be the hardest game for United to keep the unbeaten streak.
This game will be a game of revenge for the Citizens who were beaten by the Red Devils twice at Etihad Stadium last season and United did the league double over City.

Pep Guardiola managed to watertight his defence after a bad last season. The Citizens have conceded only 17 goals in 27 games. Manchester United lost to Manchester City this season in the league cup semi-final by 2-0.
Manchester United haven’t found the back of the net in the last three games. They drew 0-0 in all three games. United are having a poor run of form against the traditional big six clubs.
Solskjær’s boys scored only once against big six teams which came in a 6-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in seven games. The Red Devils were league leaders in January but since then they only managed to earn 11 points in 8 games which put them way behind the top spot.

Pep Guardiola will get a relatively full squad, only Nathan Ake is in doubt. Pep normally gives surprise in his team selection in big games and he has been using the rotation policy from his great squad. It will be interesting to see will Manchester City go with the false nine or go with one of Sergio Aguero or Gabriel Jesus as central forward.
Manchester United will be without Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, and Phil Jones due to injury. David De Gea will be unavailable because of the birth of his child. Anthony Martial and Donny Van De Beek should be back for this encounter.
